During summer in Tucson, Arizona, when the heat settles in and the population drops significantly an urban soundtrack unlike any other unfolds in this vacuum.
It is a soundscape populated by the songs of swamp coolers and insects, vacant streets and distant trains.
Sketches of Tucson : Monsoon 2014 --- an album in progress with new tracks added as they are created --- will explore and present this unique sound environment via real time improvisation with the soundscape.
