totem is a document of three audio postcards and assorted visual material gathered during a sonic walkabout in baja arizona along the delta of america and mexico on 3/16/18.
track one (tree) and track 2 (grass) feature recordings of amplified american tree branches and grass blades manipulated by wind from mexico in a naturally occurring and eternal acoustic duet.
the static bursts heard on track 3 (electricity) are made by electric discharges released from the overhead power lines and not a defect of the recording.
bonus material of still and moving images are included with this download.
