The Land Between is a composition for prepared Kestrel920, Cello, Electric Guitar and Oscillators. Utilizing images from the US/Mexico border and the US/Canada border I compressed the US into a thin border land boundary represented in frequency. The other dimensions are represented by the additional instruments. Is it odd to see a border wall in snow? What underlying presumptions of race, education and privilege support these assumptions? Now transfer social dissonance into frequency. That is the nature of this work. I hope you enjoy it. Also included in the download in additional extro track along with a copy of the full cover.
